What time should we tell our guests to arrive?

Please invite your guests to arrive at your confirmed Faithwood start time, not earlier.

For example:

Faithwood booking: 2pm–4pm
Guest invitation arrival time: 2pm
Ceremony Commencement: 2:15pm+

Please do not ask guests to arrive 10, 15 or 30 minutes early.

We carefully schedule each wedding so the chapel can be privately prepared for you. Early guests can interrupt another couple’s wedding, photography, chapel reset or our preparation for your ceremony.

Your guests will have plenty of time to arrive, say hello and take their seats before your ceremony begins.

What time should our ceremony begin?

For a standard two-hour Faithwood booking, we generally recommend allowing approximately 15–30 minutes for guest arrival before your ceremony begins.

For example:

2:30pm Faithwood booking begins + guests arrive
2:45–3pm Ceremony begins
Afterwards Congratulations, confetti and photographs

Your exact timeline may vary depending on your package, suppliers and plans.

Bringing external suppliers?

Your external suppliers must also work entirely within your booked Faithwood time.

This includes florists, photographers, videographers, musicians, stylists and anyone else who needs access to the chapel.

Before finalising arrangements, ask them:

“How much time do you need for bump-in, setup and pack down?”

Do not ask external suppliers to arrive before your Faithwood booking begins unless additional hire time has been confirmed with us.

Bringing your own florist?

If your package allows BYO florals, your florist’s bump-in, installation and pack down must take place within your booked hire time.

Some florists require an additional 15–45 minutes before guests arrive, while larger installations may need longer.

Please ask your florist how much time they require before finalising your ceremony time.

If they need additional access, you may wish to add Time After Time.

Need a little more time?

Time After Time

Add an additional hour of Faithwood Chapel hire for $429.

Extra time can be helpful if you:

• Have an external florist or stylist who needs setup and pack-down time

• Have additional external suppliers

• Want more breathing room within your wedding timeline

• Would like additional time for photographs or celebrations at Faithwood

Additional time is subject to availability, so please arrange this with us before confirming supplier arrival times.

Want to celebrate with champagne?

Add our Champagne Service

If you’d love to raise a glass after your ceremony, our Champagne Service can be added to your Faithwood wedding.

Please note that food and beverages cannot be brought in, served or consumed at Faithwood unless our Champagne Service has been added to your booking.

This applies to BYO champagne, other alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and food brought for guests.

If you’re dreaming of a champagne moment after saying “I do”, let us know and we can add the service to your booking, subject to availability.

How many guests can we invite?

Faithwood can welcome up to 24 guests plus up to 8 people at the altar, including the two of you.

Children aged 2+ are included in your guest count. Babies are not included.

Please make sure your final guest list remains within the capacity included with your booking to maintain the aesthetics of the Chapel and allow a positive experience for your guests and to protect the photographer and content creators options of capturing your best angles.

Can we bring candles?

You’re welcome to create a candlelit look using LED candles only.

For safety, open flames, real candles and any other naked flame are not permitted inside Faithwood Chapel.

Can we bring our own decorations?

If you would like to bring additional styling or décor, please check with us first.

Any approved items must be installed and completely removed within your booked Faithwood time.

Nothing may be attached to walls, floors, windows, furniture or chapel surfaces without prior approval.

Confetti

Confetti is included with your package, we’ll hand it out to your Guests.

Please don’t bring additional confetti without checking with us first. This allows us to protect the chapel and surrounding property and make sure everything can be cleaned safely between weddings.

Parking at Faithwood

Faithwood Chapel is located at:

4/290 Sportsmans Drive, West Lakes

We encourage able-bodied guests to park along Sportsmans Drive at Eights Reserve, leaving the closest available parking for less able or late guests.

Please share the parking information with your guests before your wedding day.

We will have two car parks reserved for Wedding Cars with our Chapel Traffic Cones.

Your little wedding-day checklist

Before you leave home, make sure you have:

• Your wedding rings

• Personal vows, if you’re reading them

• Your 4 songs

• Your bouquet

• Your veil or accessories

• A short list of any must-have family or group photographs

And most importantly, yourselves.

Something changed?

Plans evolve. If your guest numbers, suppliers, timing, styling or other wedding-day details change, please let us know.

Closer to your wedding, we’ll collect the final information we need to make sure everyone involved knows exactly what is happening.

You do not need to turn your Faithwood wedding into a complicated wedding to make it special.
