Frequently Asked Questions

How many guests can we invite to our wedding at Faithwood Chapel?

Faithwood Chapel is designed for intimate celebrations and can comfortably welcome 2-24 people for a comfortable Guest experience. This number includes Children, babies are not included. We welcome the two of you to have up to 2-6 people standing at the Altar with you in your Wedding Party.

How should we schedule our ceremony, and florists, within our allocated time slot?

The standard included hire time is 2 hours which we recommend for Registry-style Elopements using in-house flowers. We recommend scheduling your ceremony to start 15 minutes into your allocated time slot. This allows time for guest arrival and ensuring everyone is comfortably seated.

If you have external suppliers such as florists, musicians, or videographers, we suggest adding ‘Time After Time’ - 1 additional hour of hire time to your booking for their setup aka bump-in and for their bump-out to keep your day stress-free and relaxed. We will be unable to accomodate set-up for suppliers or well-intentioned guests arriving early due to the nature of the Chapel’s schedule and strictly need external suppliers to bump-out within your allocated hire time of the Chapel. We can do up to 3 weddings each day, and offer private viewings. The Chapel is by Appointment Only. You can add ‘Time After Time’ in your Booking Reservation link.

Can we bring our own confetti or Rose Petals?

We provide beautiful paper confetti for use at your ceremony. If you’d like to bring your own confetti, it must be paper confetti—not bio-confetti or petals—to ensure easy clean-up and respect for our venue. Bio-confetti is hazardous indoors.

Are we allowed to bring candles to the chapel?
For safety reasons, we ask that any candles brought to the venue be LED only. This ensures a worry-free and beautiful ambiance for your special day.

Where is parking located, and how do we ensure accessibility for all guests?

There are 8 additional parks available at Eights Reserve on Sportsman’s Drive, just 60 meters from the Chapel. We kindly request that able-bodied guests arriving early use these spaces, leaving the parking directly in front of the Chapel for guests with limited mobility or those arriving closer to the ceremony start time. We reserve 2 carparks for the Wedding Couple using our Chapel Traffic cones. We do share our main carpark with our neighbours, and we cannot guarantee carparking.

Can we extend our photography session outside the Chapel?

Absolutely! You can add additional photography time to your package through your Reservation Link in your client portal when booking. Many couples choose to add one extra hour for portraits such as North Terrace in the city, the Botanic Gardens or the beach. Let us help you capture even more unforgettable memories!

How many bottles of Champagne should we bring?

We recommend bringing at least 6 bottles of Champagne for a full house, it can’t hurt to have an extra bottle or two, and some guests will be into the bubbles a lot more than others. If you’re having a big party afterwards and getting married later in the day, more bubbles. For a morning or brunch wedding, Nana might not want 2-3 glasses before midday - but maybe your Nana will!
Champagne service is a paid-add on, you can add this at the time of booking or anytime before your Wedding.

Can we bring a cake to cut?

Absolutely, we can have it on display on a white plinth in front of our Fireplace or we can set it up on a white plinth in front of the Altar. Both of these give different feels, the fireplace is beside the Neon is modern, in front of the Altar is romantic.
If you would like guests to enjoy cake and other food, we require the payment of the food and beverage fee.
