Since opening our doors on 1 July 2023, more than 180 couples have been married at Faithwood Chapel.
Some came with their closest family and friends. Some eloped with only witnesses. Some wanted the flowers, photographs and champagne. Others simply wanted to walk in, say “I do” and be married.
That’s the idea behind Faithwood.
A wedding doesn’t need to be big, traditional or complicated to feel incredibly special.
Meet Jewel
Nearly 16 years behind the camera. More than 180 Faithwood weddings later.
Faithwood Chapel was created by Adelaide wedding photographer Jewel Chenoweth.
Jewel officially began her photography business on 1 January 2010, after spending the years before it photographing simply because she loved it.
Almost 16 years of weddings followed.
Being behind the camera for hundreds of wedding days gave Jewel a unique perspective on what couples actually need. What makes a ceremony flow. Where the light falls beautifully. Which details make photographs sing. What creates stress. And, perhaps most importantly, what can be left out entirely.
Faithwood grew from that experience.
The all-white interior, natural light, aisle reveal, ceremony styling and the way each wedding moves through the space have all been considered through the eyes of someone who has spent almost 16 years watching weddings unfold.
