Golden Hour, Guaranteed

Why Adelaide’s prettiest weddings happen at Faithwood Chapel

There’s a moment, just before the sun slips below the horizon, when everything glows.

Skin softens. Petals shimmer. Love looks cinematic.

At Faithwood Chapel, we built our timeline around that moment – and the result?
Portraits that feel painted in light.

Why golden hour matters

Golden hour is the brief window just after sunrise or before sunset when the sun sits low in the sky. The result is warm, flattering light that turns every frame into a love letter.

For photographers, it’s magic. For couples, it’s unforgettable.

Faithwood’s east-facing arched windows are designed to catch the morning sun, but our schedule also allows for twilight exits and sunset portrait sessions that feel straight from a film.

Timing your ceremony for perfect light

Our most popular package – ‘Til The Stars Grow Cold will finish with enough time for you to travel and meet your photographer on location.

And that’s not by accident.

Whether you want a first look before your guests arrive or romantic images as you disappear into your dinner reservation – we’ll plan the timing perfectly.

The glow-up is real

Here’s what’s included in our golden hour favourite:

‘Til The Stars Grow Cold – $5288

  • Celebrant

  • Premium faux floral styling

  • Two hours chapel hire

  • Confetti exit & Polaroids

Picturing something earlier?

Our morning sessions catch the soft sun as it floods through our nine-metre-high windows. Think morning glow, fresh florals, and brunch after “I do.” Oh and did we mention we’re neighbours with a cafe, latte to cheers the newlyweds!

Whether you’re early birds or sunset lovers – we’ll help you chase the light.

Sunset or sunrise – your love deserves to glow
